All-Hazards Air Operations and Unmanned Aircraft Management is a workshop targeted at the Command and General Staff on an All-Hazards (AH) Incident Management Teams (IMTs) and those using unmanned aircraft or would like to more about using unmanned aircraft on day to day emergency operations. Additional target groups are those Unit Leaders, especially those in Logistics who have considerable and critical interactions with the Air Operations Branch Director (AOBD) air staff or day to day aerial manager / emergency manager.
Aviation is one of the more complex components of AH response, and probably the least understood. However, the fact still remains that close coordination and communication among the Air Operations are critical to successful aviation mission execution.
This Workshop Covers
Understand the job, duties, and tasks required of an Air Operations Branch, how to mobilize and transition into an incident aviation environment, and be able to prepare for, manage, and oversee an aviation operation
Describe the need by members of the C&GS Unit Leaders and EOC to interface with the Air Branch
Describe aviation support and logistics needs
- Developing and Managing an Unmanned Aircraft program
